This policy explains what information EQVT ("we", "us") handles when you visit eqvtapp.com or use the EQVT mobile app, and the choices you have.

The short version

• You do not need an account to use the app, and we do not ask for your name, phone number or email address.
• Your watchlist, followed items and recent searches are stored on your device.
• The app sends anonymous usage analytics, which you can switch off.
• We do not sell personal data and we do not show third-party advertising.

This website

This website does not set cookies and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. Like any website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability.

The mobile app

Stored on your device. Your watchlist, the stocks and people you follow, your recent searches and your app settings are kept on your device. They are removed when you uninstall the app.

Anonymous usage analytics. To understand which parts of the app are useful, the app sends usage events to our servers: screens viewed, stocks and profiles opened, and the app version and platform. These events are tied to a random identifier created on your device when the app is first opened. The identifier is not linked to your name, phone number, email address or any account. Raw usage events are kept for up to 90 days.

Search queries. Searches made in the app are recorded without any identifier, so we can show trending searches and improve results.

Opting out. You can turn usage analytics off at any time from the Profile tab in the app. Once it is off, no further usage events are sent.

When you email us

If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation.

How we use information

• To run, maintain and secure the app and this website.
• To understand how the app is used and improve it.
• To respond to people who contact us.

Service providers

We use Microsoft Azure to host our website and servers. Providers that process data on our behalf do so only to deliver their service to us.

Use of AI

We use AI models to help research and draft editorial content from public information. We do not send information about app users to AI providers.

Children

EQVT is intended for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.

Your choices and requests

You can switch off analytics in the app, and uninstalling the app removes the data stored on your device. For any other question or request about your data, write to contact@eqvtapp.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
